I qualified in South Africa in 1985 and owned 2 practices there before emigrating to New Zealand with my family and purchasing Bayvet clinic from Allan Rapley in 2001. I am married to Glenda, we have 2 children, Kate and Peter, and an Abbysinian cat that rules the roost. I am interested in orthopaedic surgery and internal medicine. I love working at Bayvet and interacting with our wonderful clients and their owners.

I joined Bayvet in September 2014. I am a qualified Vet Nurse and bring over twenty seven years experience of working in small animal practices, the last ten years of which were spent working in feline only vet clinics.
I am extremely passionate about all animals and operate a cat grooming and pet-minding service in and around the Helensville area.

I have been a qualified vet nurse for over 20 years, working at Bayvet since 1996. I studied canine behaviour at Massey University and actively use the information every day because I have four dogs - two German Shepherds and two Papillon x Chihuahuas. I also regularly take one of my German Shepherds to Schutzhund training. I am passionate about the impact of a dogs behaviour on both its human family and its own health.

I joined Bayvet in January 2019 and am the newest member of the team. I have two West Highland white terriers and two cats and am a local in the bays. I have a great love for animals and making sure they get great care at Bayvet!
